The mission of the Braddock Street United Methodist Early Learning Center is to provide a safe, secure, loving, and stimulating Christian environment for all children. Each child is carefully nurtured to insure that the maximum potential of social, spiritual, intellectual and physical development is reached while under the care of the Early Learning Center.
Superior childcare is an essential part of family life in today’s society. We are dedicated to providing services that support and contribute to the success and well-being of families and children. As caring professionals, we understand the importance of the early years. We are aware that a child’s love for learning will be influenced by their experiences in the early years. We are committed to providing stimulating activities that assist in the developmental process.
The Center and its employees are governed by the Braddock Street Weekday Ministries Board. This Early Learning Center is licensed through the Virginia Department of Social Services and the license may be viewed in the hall outside of the Director’s Office. Reports on this program relating to scheduled and unscheduled visits of the Licensing Specialist are available from the Director at any time.
The Early Learning Center provides nurturing and loving care for each child that comes through our doors. We believe that each child possesses unique and wonderful qualities that should be celebrated and honored throughout childhood.
